Show The World!
Movies are a way of showing someone your view on things. It has always been easier for me to show people than tell them how I feel, which is why I respect people who can write well. Movies have always appealed to me so I decided to try to show the world my view on how poverty affects the education we receive. Sometimes we don't have enough money to pursue a great education. Yes there are opportunities for people without money who seek education, but there are also much more obstacles. I'm still trying to decide whether I should do a documentary type of film or make up a story conveying the same point I want to drive across. Yes, a fictional story is more troublesome to do, but it's something worth trying.

Even though its really hard to make a fictional story I think it would be really cool to see the end product.
ReplyDeleteI think that you should show the two points of education (the life of a well educated student versus the one who has many obstacles). I would sorta be like living their lives and seeing both points of view (possibly senior students). It would be interesting how they overcome senior years challenges then see where they end up next fall.
This is a substantial undertaking -- worth pursuing, I think. Talk to Mr. Dilworth about his video contact?
ReplyDeleteI think you can work with quite a bit here Ale. I'm pretty sure a documentary is totally possible. Do you know who you would use to portray your idea? Maybe a current student or an alumni from Chinquapin at some university who is having financial problems.
