My Panel

My panel consists of Carlton Ahrens, Ford Gunter, Liz Thornton, and Dale Dilworth. Carlton and Ford are independent filmmakers so they will help me with the movie making part. Liz Thornton can help me with the layout and script writing because she's in charge of yearbook so she knows how that works. Dale also does short movies on his own, so he can help me as well. They will all evaluate my movie. Carlton and Ford will focus on the angles and the way I filmed the movie. Liz will evaluate how well I prepared and if I went by the script I will make. Dale will evaluate the content of the movie and how well I drive my point across. I have been researching the types of movies I could do and how directors use techniques to portray the message they want to portray.

  1. Ale this post is informative in the sense that I can see who you plan to be working with, but what about your actual project? I admit I have not really kept up with your posts, but I think it would be a good idea to keep bringing up your idea a bit more often. It would be nice to do that just in case someone reads your most recent post, and wants to know what is going on from that one post. Now, I'm not saying do it for every single post but maybe every other post. What is your film going to be about or are you still doing some research to figure that out? What is your purpose of making this film? Is it that a student can create a film or is your purpose going to be a message from the content of your film?

  2. I agree with Lucy, try to state your project because there is some people that just read the last post. Also what progress have you made? The research? It seems that you have to make a script? How is that going? Try to put more detail into what your panel might do for you or what they have done for you.

  3. I like your project because I too share the passion for media, but I just wanted to suggest to you that you should invite Paul or Keith from WonderWorks to be on your pannel. I know they would love to help you out being that they're class helped you and you're following up on what they taught. I also agree with Lucy because this is my first time reading your blog post, and I don't know what type of movie your trying to compose or what the theme of the movie will be. You should include more information of how your research has enriched you project, and what you expect to give off with your final product. With that being said, I like your project and if you need any help I can help you out with whatever: acting, holding the camera, boom opt, etc.
